change mac password
boot from external drive By holding alt button 1. on start or go into recovery mode by holding command +r on start
2. click on utility
3. click on terminal
4. type resetpassword
5. Enter your desired password

6.Click on reset user preferences
7. Click ok
8. Click on ok
9. Restart mac
